"Is my stay confidential?"
Completely. Registration happens in-room or in the private lobby lounge on request; your name never appears on corridor signage or visible lists. VIP guests may check in under an alias on file, and housekeeping operates on a knock-and-text system you control.
"How do I get from the airport to the resort?"
Three ways: the Airtrain to Central plus a five-minute taxi (about A$25 total), a chauffeured Maybach at A$220 with meet-and-greet, or the rooftop helicopter transfer at A$980 — twelve minutes from terminal to Level 26.
"Can the suite be staged before I arrive?"
Yes — send preferences 48 hours out and the floor butler stages everything: your pillow profile, scent choice, minibar picks, flowers and even the morning newspaper. The request form lives in the guest app and on the contacts page.
Reservations & Billing
Rates, deposits, modifications and the paperwork of a smooth arrival.
Flexible rates need only a card guarantee — nothing is charged until you arrive. Advance-purchase rates are prepaid and discounted up to 18%. Packages over A$5,000 can be settled by bank transfer with a 50% deposit.
Flexible rates move freely until 2 PM the day before arrival. Prepaid rates can be moved once at no charge to any date within twelve months, subject to availability and any seasonal price difference.
A A$200 nightly incidental hold is placed on your card at check-in and released within five business days of checkout. Cash deposits of A$500 are accepted for guests without cards.
Early check-in before noon is A$80 when available; suite guests and Black Onyx members get it free. Late checkout to 2 PM is complimentary on flexible rates, to 4 PM at A$120.
The Casino Floor
Entry rules, etiquette, limits and responsible play at Brisbane's riverfront casino.
Anyone 18 or over with valid photo ID — you don't need to be a hotel guest. Australian driver's licences, passports and proof-of-age cards are accepted; international guests must show a passport.
Main floor tables start at A$15 for blackjack and roulette, A$25 for baccarat. The salons run A$100–A$500 minimums, and the high-limit room hosts negotiated limits for members. Machine denominations range from 1¢ to A$5.
Smart casual on the main floor — no swimwear, workwear or thongs. Salons and the Sky Terrace require smart dress after 6 PM. Management reserves the right of entry, as with every licensed venue.
Yes — the Casino Masterclass Academy runs private tuition daily on a training table with no money in play. Main floor dealers also happily explain rules between hands when the table isn't busy.
Self-exclusion, spend and time limits are available at the membership desk and through the guest app, with trained liaison staff on the floor 24/7. Queensland's Gambling Help line (1800 858 858) is listed throughout the casino.

Every category above Vista King faces the river, but the Riverbend Grand Suite and Wharf Penthouse hold the widest angles — both frame the Story Bridge. Request a high floor (20+) when booking for the fullest panorama.
Yes — Vista King pairs connect to River Deluxe twins on every floor, and the Skyline Residence sleeps six under one roof with a private corridor. Tell reservations at booking and we'll lock the combination.
All suites and indoor areas are strictly non-smoking. The Cigar & Rare Spirits lounge has a dedicated ventilated terrace, and there are signed outdoor areas on Level 4 and the riverwalk.
Small dogs and cats up to 12 kg are welcome on our pet-friendly floors (Levels 8–9) at A$95 per stay — silk beds, personalised bowls and a vet-approved room-service menu included. Guide and assistance animals stay free, everywhere.
Every room carries the Master Sleep System — hand-built mattress, twelve-option pillow menu via the guest app, 100% blackout drapery and a 19°C sleep climate preset. Rooms hold below 20 decibels at night.
Dining & Events

Atelier 33 and Nami Raw Bar book out two to three weeks ahead on weekends — reserve when you book your room. Ember & Oak and The Conservatory usually hold same-week tables, and the gaming-floor eateries take walk-ins around the clock.
Every venue runs full allergen matrices — coeliac, halal, vegan and low-FODMAP menus are standard, not special requests. Flag requirements at booking and the degustation counters will redesign courses around them.
Ember & Oak serves until 2 AM, the gaming-floor noodle bar runs to 4 AM, and in-room dining delivers the full night menu — truffled popcorn to oyster plates — in 30 minutes or less, 24/7.

Arrivals & Transfers
Getting here from the airport, the river or the rooftop pad.
The Airtrain to Central runs every 15 minutes (A$19.70, 20 min) then it's a five-minute taxi or a pleasant 12-minute riverwalk. Our Maybach transfer is A$220 with meet-and-greet; the helicopter lands you on Level 26 in 12 minutes at A$980.
Yes — the resort berths private vessels up to 12 metres at the Queen's Wharf marina with 24-hour notice. CityCat and CityHopper ferries stop at the adjacent terminal, a two-minute walk to the lobby.
The main garage clears 2.1 metres; vehicles up to 2.6 metres use the porte-cochère bay by arrangement. Anything larger — tour coaches, trailers — we stage at the adjacent events yard with security.
Always — drop bags with the bell desk any time from 6 AM and they're tagged, stored and delivered to your room the moment it's ready. The same applies on departure day until midnight.
Privacy & Policies

Floors are key-card access only, lifts are monitored, and solo guests can request a call-check ritual at a chosen hour. The precinct is patrolled around the clock and Queen Street Mall is lit and busy late.

Absolutely — only the gaming areas are 18+. Family suites, the lagoon pool, kids' menus and a supervised activity club (weekends, 9 AM–5 PM) make Pacific Vista a genuine family destination.
